    Classic Award to HNL

Unfortunately we only are bronze, all our points are courtesy of credit card spend. All of my travel is on non revenue unfortunately, so we get no status from that.

    Classic Award to HNL

I thought that too, but this came from the QF FF staff.

    Classic Award to HNL

Yeah all in Y. And understand it's peak season, but since I'm looking at just as availability *should* be shown, that's where I'm getting confused about how the award seats are allocated.

    Classic Award to HNL

Hi everyone, We're looking to use our QF points to head to HNL next year, preferably around the 4th of July. I've been monitoring the award availability, and it’s become frustrating trying to secure seats for any time after the end of March. It’s especially apparent that the return flights...

    Hawaiian to fly Brisbane-Honolulu

Speaking of IFE, we're booked to fly HA BNEHNLBNE in Y, and their website indicates the IFE is not on these services for this routing (digEplayer). Sounds strange to me, or have I misinterpreted this? In-Flight Movies - Hawaiian Airlines

Airflines PNG Dash 8 crashes in PNG

We had two pax scheduled on that service. It's been a very long day. Still not 100% sure if both boarded and the manifest has not been released. Certainly will be very reluctant to use CG moving forward.

Linking PNR's to get seating together... not working for me!

You were so close! Linking the pnrs will work only for seating with online checkin and at the airport. If you call QF seating back, and select the exit row seating option, they can assist you in regards to what you are trying to do.

Qantaslink Fokker 100s on BNEROK & BNEMKY

Makes sence to compete with the VC 320s.

Qantaslink Fokker 100s on BNEROK & BNEMKY

Just noticed in the GDS that Qantaslink are starting to use some of the Alliance Fokker 100s on these routes (and perhaps more). Good to see more services/seats into these destinations. When the mine shut downs etc are on, flights can be a nightmare!

    Avoid QF3/QF4 To/From Honolulu

It's a disgrace, but it will be upgauged to a 332 or 333 soon apparently. What's more frustrating is award availability is really poor too in Y, but JQ is always wide open (when you add up an extra piece of baggage, meals and entertainment, it's quite an expencive award). HA/JQ/QF's product...

Should J & F be AO? (Kids we dont want you in Business class!)

Have seen equally innapropriate behavior by adults in the premium cabins, as exhibited by children. And a side note, as a parent who has travelled with young children, no matter how vigilant you can be with their behaviour, how much entertainment/food you provide, sometimes children are just...

JQ confirms it's joining Oneworld (according to press and not direct quotes)

No Business class inventory (I,D,C,J) is offered on the QF coded flights on JQ, only Y and below. So if you were on a DONE, you would need to downgrade to L with nil compensation.

JQ confirms it's joining Oneworld (according to press and not direct quotes)

Typically the inventory or fares applicable on the QF flight number will be V class and above, fares wise, you're looking at non-discounted fares (ie no super saver or red e-deals). Although a super saver inventory class may be available, no fare may apply. This is certainly the case in a...
