    Travel agent credit card surcharges

That's the thing, at the end of the day they are both the same arbatrary figures, but it depends on the way you market it.

    Travel agent credit card surcharges

The good old Australian mentality that if you're aware that you're paying a fee, we kick and scream until we have the fee waived. But if everything is hidden in the full price, and in some cases it costs more, we're fine with that. I'm sorry but most retailers charge a credti card fee. Not...

SYD-HNL: is DeathStar the only option?

Sorry I didnt realise that their 763s ans 320s have AVOD in Y now. But going on Ops dates' don't think NZ will work unfortunately. Would have to leave on the 15th O'night in AKL and then return around the 26th.

SYD-HNL: is DeathStar the only option?

We fly to HNL quite a bit, and I've flown on AC/HA/QF and JQ for this route. Peronsally I find the JQ/QF product comparable once you purchase meals/entertainment on JQ due to QF operating the older 763. NZ will use their 763s to HNL as well, so nothing really to gain there. FJ also fly to...

    Good Seat

It'll be the 33B Go for the forward cabin, they quite often use do not the smaller cabin between J and Y. While you could assume it would be more private, the ground staff have mentioned they will move pax to the forward cabin and leave the mid cabin empty. Go with K.

Paid full-service QF fare but received no-frill JQ service

If you do not take the time to read the terms and conditions, you are are not taking your own full responibility of tryign to understand the product or service you are purchasing. It is reasonable for a consumer to investigate independantly the details of what they are purchasing, so that they...

    USA trip questions

S is still lower yielding than V internationally. Sometimes V class is the lowest upgradeable fare class, as no S class fares are offered.

What travel agents don't want you to know

Agree with TG, as always. People get ripped off in any retail environment, just most industries arent as transparent.

Why is holidaying in Australia so expensive?

We travel to Waikiki every 2 years, buy all our clothes there. The difference in price for the clothing, covers the cost of the accomodation/meals, compared with what we would spend here in Australia at outlets. I would say this would be even more significant if we travelled to Asia, but we...

Flight History - Full or not

That's a very complicated thing to answer - at what time did she book it? Perhaps 3 hours before the flight, the case may have been there was no Y, but then an hour later 4 pax moved to another service, so it was no longer full... very hard thing to prove.

    Have you flown Jetstar?

Flown on JQi and JQd. Found in flight product and service fine, JQi was really quite good (HNLSYD). My beef with JQ is there service levels on the ground in res/sales. It's really disgusting. Yes it's a LCC, but this really shows when dealing with the res team trying to solve issues.
