Welcome to aff @Kateag2... Yes, I too are waiting for more information as well as confirmation of changes with some travel I have booked for June.

    Qantas international Economy Class meals

My goodness! There are "shelf stable" catering products available that at least could pass for a meal. I guess such are "too expensive" for Qantas to provide on a fare inclusive basis.

The revamp has not yet begun, unless you count the glass door to the emerald lounge being stuck permanently open.

Article: Qantas’ Frustrating Application of Married Segment Logic

There probably is a way to get around the issue. There certainly is one for those using the WP/CL/P1 Award Seat release benefit. https://www.australianfrequentflyer.com.au/community/threads/qff-platinum-requesting-release-of-extra-classic-reward-seats.63895/post-2784983

FT v AFF - or what makes a good post?

Although I have not delved deeply in revent times, one of the worst FT Forums for such I found was their BA one. Some has a lot to do with moderation. I remember 20 years ago on FT, most of the regular CX posters jumped ship to their own website, CathayTalk.com because of an overzealous...

Velocity asking for more money the day of travel or they’ll cancel my ticket

Being pedantic, there is no merging of two flight tickets into a single flight ticket. I am not aware if that is even possible. In this particular case, "Merging Tickets" does not accurately describe the process, which was moving a ticketed flight booking from one PNR into another PNR. A...

Velocity asking for more money the day of travel or they’ll cancel my ticket

Think of a PNR as an envelope into which can be inserted one or more bookings such as hotel stays, train travel, flight tickets, transfers etc. An example of a common situation with more than one ticket in a PNR, can be a simple 2 PAX airline booking. It will have one PNR "containing" two...

American Airlines - First Class upgrades

I tried with QFF number in booking several times but no realistic offer occurred. There was more success with AAdvantage number. I did do some research using anecdotes on FlyerTalk.

American Airlines - First Class upgrades

What I have done with mixed success this year is to book directly with AA and use my no status AAdvantage number. I would not select a seat at this stage. I would not book "Basic". I targeted flights with cheap "First" availability (low loadings). Generally after ticketing, I would be...

General Estate Planning issues (Wills, PoA, AHDs)

Some 30 years ago State Trustees had a promotion and drafted willsfor me and SWMBO at no cost. It did involve a meeting. When we realised they would appoint themselves executor we gave them a miss.

Fiji Airways Seat Selection when you are flying as Qantas Codeshare Pax

Qantas and Fiji Airways both use the same GDS (Amadeus), so I would expect the PNR to be the same. As you indicate, there appears to be no issue bringing the FJ manage booking up as you can choose seats but not successfully complete the process. I suspect the codeshare is the issue. The...

    BA16 seat configuration

You rarely see the Singapore skyline coming from Oz. Most regularly I see it on my frequent KUL-SIN flights from an A seat. Even then the air is thick and hazy if not clouded. Often there are a few chances as you circle/weave around Batam in a (frequent) holding pattern.
