    Wordle!

I play Connections too, but find the American-isms annoying at times. I also play Spelling Bee, and get mildly annoyed at some of the "normal" (IMO) words it doesn't accept, yet it'll allow some really obscure "stupid" (again, IMO) ones. Here's a screenshot of one that came up a couple of...

    A bit of humour

The top one looks like an iPhone 4s, in which case it'll soon have about as much coverage in AU as the bottom one. :p

    A bit of humour

From the surname and number prefix, I thought it might've been a mobile number in Uganda.

    A bit of humour

Reminds me of.... There are 10 types of people. Those who understand binary numbers and those who don't.

    Wordle!

There's always the ol' timezone change trick, unless you've left it really late. After much analysis, the starter word that I settled on and changed to about nine months ago came up about a month ago, but I'm staying with it. Over that time, my average has been 3.3 (hard mode). Current and max...

New NSW intercity fleet and XPTs - when?

I assume that it's left the station, permanently, from what I read recently on another forum.

Virgin Voyages Access Keys for 79,999 points on the Velocity Store

Except for the first two of the original ten.

    Wordle!

If once a day isn't enough for you, there are several similar apps that allow you to play in unlimited mode. I've tried several of them, and the one that I've settled on is called "Worde" (wekele.com). It's available for Android and iOS. I also play a series of daily games that can be found at...

    No longer receiving emails

I switched my email address from TPG to Gmail a couple of months ago. I should've received an email triggered by the reply above, but haven't as yet. Looks to be an AFF problem then???

    No longer receiving emails

Using TPG / iiNet / Internode for your email by any chance? Their email services have gone rapidly downhill since TPG (along with the ISP's it has acquired) decided to get out of the email providing space, offloading it to The Messaging Company instead.

What's a forgotten item a security has found in your bag?

Not "lost" or forgotten as such, but I'll mention it anyway.... Mrs 2905 got pulled aside at CBR for what was thought to be rope in her carry-on bag. The "rope" was just a packet of Allen's Snakes Alive (which could lead to series of jokes about snakes on a plane, but anyway). Meanwhile, the...

Virgin Voyages Access Keys for 79,999 points on the Velocity Store

FWIW, Virgin Voyages looks to be using the Overseas Passenger Terminal, with occasional anchorage at Athol Bay if necessary. I assume that Resilient Lady won't fit under the coathanger, to reach White Bay??? (I couldn't find her height specs, other than "13 storeys".)

Virgin Voyages Access Keys for 79,999 points on the Velocity Store

Got my Access Key at 7.01am. First attempt to book bombed out with a 404 error part way through. Second attempt worked; the 6 night one from 1 - 7 Feb, Melbourne / Sydney / Hobart. Sea Terrace on deck 12.

Virgin Voyages Access Keys for 79,999 points on the Velocity Store

Good news: My "Your Velocity Access Key has arrived." e-mail arrived about half an hour ago. Bad news: Access key is nowhere to be seen. It literally says, "Your Access Key is . "

Virgin Voyages Access Keys for 79,999 points on the Velocity Store

It does say to allow up to five business days, which would be this coming Thursday for those who pulled the trigger on the day the e-mail came out. Or Friday in my case, as I spent some time researching it and discussing it with my wife before pulling the trigger the following morning...

Virgin Voyages Access Keys for 79,999 points on the Velocity Store

From section 13 of the T&C's..... So even for a transfer you'd be taking a risk, as I see it.

Virgin Voyages Access Keys for 79,999 points on the Velocity Store

Mrs 2905 and I have never been on a cruise. I had 800K+ idle Velocity points, so after a brief discussion and a bit of research, I pulled the trigger on this offer. The last two sailing dates won't work for us, but other than that we're fairly flexible. We live in Canberra, so we're going to...

    eSims, what is your experience.

I've just received another useless reply from Airalo..... My question to them was..... Maybe they should be in politics. EDIT: They were pretty quick with this reply, but it still doesn't answer the question.... I give up.
