What is the best way to check availability to Hawaii using Velocity points. Is it still through AA website? and does it hold true that if available here, it will be available with Velocity when you call Virgin? Thanks!

May have been discussed in this thread already, but there is a massive reduction in SQ availability - used to be seats on almost all flights SYD-SIN in J (ie on each of the 4 flights), but now it looks like only on 1 flight. Same can be said for QR - can't see any J availability on any seats...
