My niche in academia is probably best described as financial sociology. Though my focus is elsewhere, my work has involved the study of group dynamics and pyschology. Perhaps for these reasons I find your recent antics, Rodgerbranch, fascinating.
I have so many questions, some of the first that come to mind are:
What was your motivation for investing effort into deceiving a bunch of strangers who have no tangible impact on your life?
Was this behaviour just a confused form of visualisation and you have also fooled youself into believing that you were given those points?
How do you predict your revelation of your spending patterns (stores/$ etc) will affect your standing in this community?
Did you believe that errors such as non-aligned figures would go unnoticed in a forum dominated by individuals with IT expertise?
How do you feel now that your deception has become apparent?
What do you think are the most important factors leading to your quasi-obsession with Disney?
