100,000 velocity points for velocity platinum amex with referral

Hi. If you have access to amex online services you can usually click on 'Velocity Points Transferred'. This will show points for transactions as they are accumulated...

Further to this, I find that the points take around 24-48 hours to show up in my Velocity account after being swept by AMEX.

Great offer, you get 100,000 and I get 60,000 for the referral. Minimum spend of $2000, but easily done, especially with rates coming up. Same perks as above, lounge access, free flight etc.

Yep,definitely after the minimum spend has been met. Both my husband and I received a 10,000 bonus point credit after the first, small spend, then the 90,000 points after the $2,000 min had been reached.

Your friend can always buy Coles-Myer gift cards from Coles, or Wish cards from Woolworths if he/she is too keen to get the points ASAP, then use those cards slowly.

Yep,definitely after the minimum spend has been met. Both my husband and I received a 10,000 bonus point credit after the first, small spend, then the 90,000 points after the $2,000 min had been reached.

The idea on the store gcs is good but it can be improved significantly...

Go via the Cashrewards site (free to sign up) then can purchase Wow gcs at currently a 5.25% discount.

Nothing like getting extra spending for an extra click on the screen...

That then takes you through to the Wow site to purchase. I go for the egcs as all you need to do is write down the 10 or so digits for the number and the 4 digit pin on a small post-it which sits on my Wow rewards card. Saves wallet 'card' stress.

Then to boost your return, you can use those electronic gift cards to purchase some eftpos cards at woolies this week.
Apparently the math works out to $90.65 for a $100 card if done this way. I've not tried it or investigated it much to be honest. May help others though??
