I signed up to flybuys a few months ago when getting the coles mastercard. I've got roughly 60,000 points sitting in the account and I'm wondering is it worth taking advantage of this bonus 15% or have they ever had a promo with a higher bonus %?

15% is as good as I have seen.

I have a paltry 17,000 FB points. Dunno whether to throw them over to Velocity, or save up to throw to EY. If doing MEL-PER in J, even with the bonus EY is the better option.

All recent bonus VFF promos have been 15% from FB...

Note the transfer cap to VFF of 138k FB points per calendar year. You may want to transfer this year to give more flexibility next year (depending on your earning potential).

Tossing up whether I should transfer my 122K Amex MR points to make the most of the bonus. Have no plans for them at the moment but most likely will be used through SQ / VA.

Any thoughts?

I have a similar amount and was going to throw them across, just waiting for a bonus. But funnily enough I am less convinced of the value in Velocity for these flexible points.

Was about to transfer some FlyBuys points but their webpage says the 15% offer is available until 10 December.

Thanks. DIdn't get notification about flybuys but got mine for Amex. Points cap on FB is annoying though

Does FB automatically calculate how many you’ve moved in the last 12 months, or how do they know?

On the bottom of the email it mentions I have received 129 status credits since linking Flybuys to Velocity which was from the beginning. I only just scrape through to maintain gold each year so has saved a few dollars on flights.

This ability to earn VFF SC with FB for doing the normal things in life is a good thing, helped me attain VFF PS for the 2nd time, will be using it to get cheaper the Lounge at a cheaper rate.
Wonder if FB travel will sell that SQ MEL - WLG service or not, haven't checked it out.
If it will, it means more FB earnings from FB travel, no VFF SC, but the earning of VFF points is still there though.

Edit: Yes, (just checked), FB travel will sell that SQ flight MEL - WLG at $5xx which is about $190 less than the flight in J on SQ's own website.
So if anyone wants even more FB points, and needs to fly MEL - WLG, booking with FB travel is a way to earn even more FB points ergo more VFF points too.

Just received an email from velocity titled:

'.... surprises from your not-so-secret admirers'

one of which says the transfer bonus from flybuys is 18%. T&C state for transfers from 1st to 14th Feb. Wonder if they'll add the extra bonus retrospectively? I've already transfers points this month.

Same. Will update if I get credited.

I got the email today as well and have already transferred FlyBuys (and got credited the bonus), so I think if you have already done it under the old T&C's, you won't get the higher bonus. Not worried on the small amount of FlyBuys points I transferred.

Just got that email. Now to get the 18% from FB.

Clicked the 18%, but in the FB acct it still says 15%. May wait a while to see if it changes to 18%.

I regret transferring my whole annual limit in one go now. 3% is 1800 points worth so I will try to follow up. Anyone have suggestions of where to start? Velocity or Flybuys. VA WP Member

Got the same offer but when I click the link it states only 15%.... and I transferred at 15% bonus the other day

The T&Cs say to wait 4 weeks for the other 3% - so you may need to wait a bit,
