You could enquire with the flybuys rep, who is possibly/probably the most helpful company rep on AFF.

Or read the T&Cs

The 15% bonus Points will be allocated to the linked Velocity account within 24hrs of transfer. Members should allow up to 4 weeks after 14 February 2018 for the additional 3% bonus Points to be allocated to their Velocity Frequent Flyer account.

I got the 15% extra, so who got/gets 18% extra VFF points offer email?
Edit: as mentioned, I got the 15% bonus offer right, but I did a calculation of my VFF account, and got 1030, which is a bit over 18%, so I got it.
870 plus 131 plus 29 equals 1030.
So I did get 18%.

Waited until I got to a nice round figure and pressed Go yesterday:

We are pleased to confirm your request to transfer your Membership Rewards points to Velocity- Virgin Australia is being processed. Below are the details of your order:

Transfer partner: Velocity- Virgin Australia

Points transferred: 20,000

23K total points going into my account a couple of days after 17K has gone out on a successful upgrade.

Transferred 10k FB to VFF tonight. Credited straight away with the 15% bonus.

I did not receive the 18% email so I am taking a punt that it was not targeted and the additional 3% will appear in due course...

The extra 3% appeared a few days after the 15% bonus.
I wasn't expecting the extra 3% which is a nice gesture, including the fact that VFF and FB have the SC earning down pat.
I didn't get the 18% extra email, so that extra 3% was the icing on the cake.

Maybe some compensation for your lack of luck with e-Rewards :)

Anyone get this email from VFF today:-

We’ve noticed you’ve linked your Velocity membership to flybuys, but have not yet transferred any flybuys points to Velocity.

Have transferred multiple times previously, including within the last week ... And the email only offers 15%, not 18%.

The email does mention 15%, but when it comes to the calculation side, it adds on another 3% onto your VFF account.
ERewards is no longer my best mate when it comes to earning points.
Will now look into booking MEL - WLG and then WLG - MEL - ADL with FB travel in J and watch the points come in.
Yes, eRewards is "points for not spending $, but spending time/wasting time", might as well spend a bit of $ and earn VFF points and also more importantly, VFF SC!
WLG - MEL - ADL is quite cheap, Nzd$7xx in discJ! All on the one PNR. Even cheaper at Aud$1k if MEL - WLG - MEL is booked as a return in discJ.
So, earn FB points transferable to VFF for the booking with FB travel, plus 15% bonus for the future transfer, and then earn VFF and VFF SC for the flights.
Sorry for the offtangent, but FB has a lot of ways of earning VFF points than eRewards.

I think that of our other colleagues, or some have got that 3% extra.
Plus the email to boot, so at the least they do know they will get exta VFF points.
I didn't expect the extra 3% on top of the 15% VFF points, so it was a nice gift.
I have another set of 2000 FB points being transferred, lets see if there is another 3%, transferred a few days back.

I still have a few more days before I need to transfer so it should be a good little bonus.
