Now to work out how many acts can be opened.
(As there was a hick up with my points I had to wait three months and had conversations with somebody who was trying really hard to sort it out. She mentioned that she had at least 30 people she was trying to sort out. They probably decided it’s cheaper just to hand over points).

From Dr ralph's reply, its the same (TW) as with priceline, isn't it, where meds prescriptions are excluded.
Has anyone as yet asked them that, ie, if medicine prescription allow points earnings or not?

I had done that, but when I got to Terry White the Wifi was not working - not in the Centre nor on my mobile data. Could not access my phone....could not get points. Tried again at another shopping centre and it just refused to load.....gave up. The closesest TW is 40min away and I was Christmas shopping which is why I was out and about.

Have now scanned my card into the phone....however TW too far away I think I missed the opportunity unless I cancel it somehow and start again with the above link.

Unless you can succeed in putting TW card onto something like Stocard with TW bar code, you will still need wifi or data.
Stocard works on my device without having to use wifi or data, but havent got TW on it.
Problem with the TW app too is that you always have to log into the TW website to use the TW bar code, (on the app), app does not in my case keep the barcode.
Lots too troublesome, this TW rewards system.

The barcode shown online scans straight into Google Pay under Passes > + Pass > Loyalty Program

I signed up yesterday and made a purchase today. Cashier had no problem scanning from my phone - there was even a big sign at the counter promoting the rewards program and 1000 QFF point sign-up/spend bonuses.

Will report back when the points arrive - supposedly they do a sweep once every 30 days.

My basic smartphone does not have Google pay, non NFC type.

The app should also be installable on non-NFC handsets. Google Pay is a standalone payment method, similar to PayPal, which can be used in certain apps like Uber and Ola - and as mentioned above, can be used for loyalty programs. With certain loyalty programs (Woolworths Rewards and Hilton Honors being two examples I have first hand experience of) it will show you live account balances.

Thanks Sbor, with a bit of working too and fro, and getting rid of apps that I don't use that regularly, and sitting with nothing else to do, yes, I got into Google pay, as I said, I took off some apps to give the new one Google pay some space.
Coles one works, now I just have to add the TW one manually.
As I have used Google in the past, so have the suite of Google drive, etc, so it recognises my profile.
Thanks for the tip though, I did play around earlier, on an older Android, and that one was too full of things I needed.
Sorry for the side track/threadjack, will log into my TW account and see if I can get the bar code membership number, I didn't join instore, I joined TW online, so don't have a physical card, but will chase it up this weekend.
But its a pity that under the TW's own system, it does not allow us to keep the bar code on phone, without having to go to another provider, ie, Google pay or needing wifi/mobile data.
Ok, back to the others and see what they feel about this.
Edit (Ps: I do have 2 Android phones).

Heh, now the 2nd process of the TW reset password won't work, it allows me to change it, but when I try to log in with the new password, it comes back with an error message.
User name which is my email address, allows me to get the 1st message to change password.
And I did pick, 1 number and 1 special character and 1 upper case and more than 6 characters long.
Never mind, I am back to Priceline.

Last one from me on this.
Turns out TW User name is not my email address!
Sincere apologies to all.
Edit: ok, got it all down pat, thanks a million Sbor, Google pay works a treat, manually typing my TW # into the app works, and after done, it even creates the virtual bar code.
Totally forgot about the fact that TW User name is one for this, thats not our (your) email address.
Kept going round in circles, and it the end, with a bit of using the grey matter, its all ok now.

Redbatz, maybe log into your TW account and see if you have completed rego, and if your QFF account # is there.
I had a look, indepth, that there is also TW's own reward system, where you can collect 3 points per $1 spent, and the reward is probably the type where you accumulate points in TW's own system, without transferring points to QFF.
Under the TW's reward system, they award 1 point more per $1 spent.

I hadn’t taken much notice of TW as an earning partner until Mrs H made a discovery today.

She needed a script filled which was about $6 at Chemist Warehouse last time.

We were no where near a CW, so she asked at TW how much the same pills would cost.

The answer was “$11, but we price match CW.”

This is a single datapoint, but if price matching is network wide, it might make TW much more lucrative for some of us.

I bought Mrs H bubbles for her troubles.👍

No points on meds though, as mentioned by our colleague above.
Moot point if you just want to save $ and its too troublesome to go far away to get to a CW.
