Common issue in niseko. Most people are regulars and know the issues so they bring cash. I avoid any problems by staying at the Hilton (next door I. higashiyama/Niseko Village). That way I can charge everything to the room including gear hire, lift passes, on mountain food etc. all of these charges earn base points so I should requal diamond again by end of Feb til Mar 2016!

With regards to the clubs issue, I can't believe the reply you received. I would be asking them where your $5k goes if they can't get you into some nightclubs...

I'm getting used to a lot in Niseko just bought a nice Gevrey Chambertin & the sommelier opened it smelt the cork poured herself a small glass and knocked it back!!! My brain said WTF that's about $20 of my wine but I smiled & said good?? & if you are a family of 4 is it asking too much to get your meals at the same time? So far the answer is yes.
But it's snowing so it's all good.

Had that happen on a cruise we were on many years ago. The sommelier would take a good slurp from his saucer thingy and, as he was doing this at maybe 20 tables, by the end of the meal he could barely pour a glass. At the end of the cruise we all got together and made then give us a free bottle each for all he had drunk in the previous 10 days

You are not keeping MP Diamond though and in fact many have just pissed potential QF or AA points and SC's down the drain on this. The rest of it is barely worth 2 bob.

Maninblack, out of curiosity, do you or did you ever have the centurion card? And are you oneworld emerald? Sorry, I don't follow all threads often enough to know that, I only notice that you are always very negative about the card.

Hmmmm - Accor Advantage Plus ??? Didn't think that filtered through to Cent holders ? Was only a new Plat Charge benefit ? Please correct me if I am wrong

Centurion offers Platinum membership in Le Club AccorHotels. Is that the same thing?
