I have been told specifically by RM that Amex was unable to procure Marco Polo complimentary Diamond for this year. My membership expires June 2013

Prior to my renewal date in March this year I was also made to believe by Amex that renewal would not continue. However, fortunately enough this was not the case.

My MP membership expires this Fri May 31 - if not renewed it may well tip me over the 'cancellation line'.

I will also reconsider membership if Dia,omd or some other carrot is not waived for my $5000 renewal

Gotta love Hilton - when I renewed Cent in March I received Gold Hilton Card in mail.

Called Cent RM and he assured me was mistake and he would fix it – Diamond Card arrived coupla weeks back – duplicate Diamond package just arrived again this morn.

Will be interesting to see if MP love me just as much.

Had the same Dia-Gold-Dia experience. Also rec'd the HH pack last week, with the playing cards. Although it's better to have HH Dia than not, CX Marco Polo has real value to me, and I would be very disappointed to lose it. leaving me with only VA Plat. I note that Cent benefits directory has no listing for CX Marco Polo membership. I guess I'll find out in a month.

New card along with usual luggage tags arrived today.

Cent Insurance: Left my iPhone 4S on back seat of taxi in Beijing on Mar 13, 2013. Furnished Ace Insurance with claim for cost of iPhone - $20/month over 24mths on contract = Total $480.00.

Ace initially knocked back my claim as documentation I supplied indicated that loss / theft was not reported to Hotel Security within required 48hr window.

I was provided with letter from Hotel clarifying that loss was indeed reported within 48hrs but initial Loss Report furnished by hotel indeed carried incorrect date.

Just got off phone to ACE who have now agreed to cover loss and will forward me cheque for full amount $480.00. Cent is expensive but in this instance the complimentary Travel Insurance proved effective.
