Bugger! We're doing LHR and ATH and arrive IST on the 18th April for a few days, then Gallipoli for the service ... back to LHR on the 26th.

I would have thought, it may suit most people to meet just after ANZAC Day, given it would somewhat be a 'day of rest' ...

I'm arriving relatively late ( 21st. April ) but will be staying at the IC on the 26th.

No further updates at this end - I've collected (below) a few possibilities that have been previously posted.

Our dates haven't changed. FWIW we're doing the 4 day option with RSL tours - anyone else using these guys?

If we get more interest it might be a good idea to start a new thread in the meeting and social section.

We can do the 26th during the day if it suits everyone - we have a 100th anniversary ball in the evening. Mum's oncologist was quite positive about her going on for longer - depends on a bone scan they are doing, but I am hopefully we might make this after all. The first of Mum's grandchildren is getting married in September, so we are really hoping she makes that!

+ 1. Don't forget to take your passport (or clear copy) on the day.

To gain entry to the Anzac Commemorative Site, you will be required to present both your attendance passes and passports (or clear legible photocopy of your passports) to confirm your identities.
If the identity of an attendance pass holder cannot be confirmed they will be refused entry to the commemorative sites, so it is important that we have the correct details.

Check your IST hotel bookings!

I've been keeping an eye on ours (booked in June) and noticed last week the price dropped by 13% ... made a new booking and cancelled the old. Just took another peek this morning, and it's dropped again this time by another 9% .... made a new booking and cancelled the old.

Pretty chuffed - the savings have basically turned our booking into a "stay 4 pay three" deal
