Re: 2016 US Presidential Election
To my mind, this is the heart of the matter. For all the feigned end of the world as we know it stuff from the Left/Democrats, the majority of US voters were so unmoved by the "final battle" that they did not turn out on election day. At best Hilary Clinton got 25% of the possible vote, and so the "popular vote" that people keep going on about tells us very little about what most US citizens think. The reality is neither candidate actually moved Americans to vote - the majority stayed home.Americans did not get a Californian president. They got an American President, just how the framers of their Constitution intended - a plurality of votes in a plurality of states. And the majority of voters did not actually vote - maybe they did not care who got in?.
