Was a far more interesting race than I'd been expecting - wasn't expecting much from this track.

Albeit HAM just controlled the race.
 
I have to confess I went to bed about lap 20.

Starting the races at midnight instead of 10pm is not helping F1 keep AU audiences. Of course we are a small market compared to what they are chasing with the later start.
 
It’s good that VET is continuing his old ways, or not? 5 second penalty? Should have been disqualified or 5 minutes.

Makes me think that getting Foxtel just to watch F1 is less attractive.

Some real blistering on HAM's back left too... we've got a race on our hands! Would be nice for RBR to win given their home track and Mercede's dominance there since 2014.
 
Could that be the nail in the coffin to look at another team? Not great reliability this year.
 
Should see Ferrari pull ahead in the constructors championship, too - maybe. Just.....
