Daniel beat Tsunoda which was his main goal so not a bad first race.

Highlight was Lando breaking Verstappens trophy.

And what was the deal with Ron, Hermione, Arnold and Surfer boy...Skykids commentary team or something? I hope Ted, Martin and the gang are around for a bit longer.
Some F1 Juniors thing.

Pretty boring race really but well done to RBR for the new record of 12 wins in a row as a constructor.

Read today Nico Rosberg told them his old nickname "Britney"...from Mark Webber, the girl kept calling him Britney after that and he was NOT happy Jan.

Yeah I watched the "highlights" from the Hungary F1 race and then went directly to the Indycar website, I expect a few motor sport fans will be doing the same for the rest of this year. The F1 marketing people/Liberty Media and Netflix have done a great job increasing the visibility and popularity of the sport in the last few years, but the races themselves are now becoming a bit of a drag on the business.....

VER sure did pull it out for qualy, 0.8 seconds clear - pretty big margin. PIA outpaced NOR too which was good to see. PER will move forward to the front row for Sunday's race with VER's 5 place penalty.

Will probably check out the sprint shootout once I get back later today and then the race this evening.

Easy win in the sprint for VER in the end, PIA took off a bit too early on the restart which gave VER a much easier overtake. Well done to PIA on his 2nd place. RIC unfortunate to drop towards the end and up in P10.

Interesting enough qualy, P1 to P6 is a different constructor for each position. The race outcome is likely already set, but if there is a bit of rain again then we'll see if that mixes things up a bit.

I remember when F1 didn't red flag cause of rain. Isn't that what the Wet tyres are for? If they're going to red flag races for water on the track, stick to only offering intermediates then call the race off when it gets too wet!

Some decent scraps today, but once RBR passed Ferrari they were off into the distance. VER with a new record for 10 wins in a row and RBR with a new record for 15 wins in a row.

Yes a bit of action at one corner anyway...usually teammates trying to take each other out.
Good to see HAM own up and apologise for taking out PIA. I thought he was going to blame those cough tyres that would not make it to the end....
