Pretty decent race today with some good battles, but...
...poor old Danny Ric seriously can't catch a break can he???
Problem is that 4K is only available via supported devices. If you're using something else, then you'll only ever get the HD stream. Not sure why I bother to pay KAYO for a 4K feed when they often only give us HD with lousy stereo.

If I'm not mistaken, only Foxtel/Kayo offer live coverage in Australia courtesy of Uncle Rupert's conglomerate having locked in exclusive broadcast deals. The Australian GP is the exception to the rule courtesy of the anti-siphoning laws.Hey
I just found this thread!
Rabbit hole descent @DejaBrew indeed!
I could not get live access on TEN play. Am I doing something wrong?
Well done Oscar P. Feel sorry for Daniel R - was such a brilliant driver and real character but I’m sure the media contracts will be plentiful in retirement
Thanks - that makes sense. If I'm not mistaken, only Foxtel/Kayo offer live coverage in Australia courtesy of Uncle Rupert's conglomerate having locked in exclusive broadcast deals. The Australian GP is the exception to the rule courtesy of the anti-siphoning laws.
Thanks will do!@MARTINE - recommend watching Ted's Notebook (on Fox/Kayo right now, or later on-demand). Apart from being an entertaining character, Ted's 30 minute post-race notebook report is always an interesting perspective on the race as he tells the stories we don't necessarily see or hear from the main race broadcast.
Thanks, but I do have a LG 4K TV and fast NBN so do get this quality on the occasional F1 race and other streaming services. Just annoyingly inconsistent from Foxtel/KAYO despite settings being set to 4K.Problem is that 4K is only available via supported devices. If you're using something else, then you'll only ever get the HD stream.

Yeah, must admit I always feel a sense of disappointment on weekends where Ted is absent. Really miss his personality and insight.Usually best part of the whole show.
+1Agreed. As much as I like Karun running around the pits he ain't no Ted. I also feel robbed when Martin isn't there to do his grid walk.
