Not kidding about that wine list. Although brilliant champagne. I wasn't aware CH had released the 2004 yet. They only release the 2005 a couple of years ago. Prior to that it was the 1995.

Seriously, buying a holiday home doesn't appeal to us, I'd rather explore the world than plonk myself in the same chair with the same view every summer. Besides, we live a beach lifestyle everyday of the year
Nice place for a visit though, and Fall (Sept/Oct) is the best time to visit according to the locals we met.
After returning the car mrsamaroo hit the shops. I should have timed that better
New England Clam Chowder - delicious, but I'm not sure about the presentation of the oyster crackers. The locals must love-'em ... 191 years is a longtime to be baking crackers.
