Dinner was booked at Quay and we were lucky there was no great big blog of a ship parked along side.

We went with the 10 course with paired wine option - excellent meal!

Not kidding about that wine list. Although brilliant champagne. I wasn't aware CH had released the 2004 yet. They only release the 2005 a couple of years ago. Prior to that it was the 1995. The Cape Mentelle would be decent too, but you'd think they could serve something with a bit of age on it! Or at the very least whack that in the on board decanter for a few hours first

Congratulations on the mile stone and look forward to reading your trip report!

Definitely spot on for the area we visited. One of the few times I regret not having a real camera ..... the phone just doesn't capture what the eye can see.

We whipped through customs and collected our bags pretty quickly, lined back up and handed them back over for the flight to JFK.

Enjoyed a couple of glasses of bubbles in the lounge and boarded our QF11 B787 to JFK.

Didn’t have anything to eat, and slept for 85% of the flight.

As mentioned upthread I arranged a car and driver for the transfer from JFK to Boston .... it took 4.5 hours, was an enjoyable drive and was around the same time or a little less if we had decided to fly.

Made for a big travel day, but beats sitting around at airports or spending a night in a place you don’t wan’t to be.

We stayed at the Four Season Boston. There are now two Four Seasons in Boston, we stayed at the older one due to its better location on Boylston Street opposite the common/garden.

Having not eaten since breakfast, we were starving. We hit the hotel bar for some classic Boston snacks.
