Miranda Kerr to be replaced by Kath and Kim, with the role being renamed as JQ ambassadors.

Joyce will ground the fleet again and hold everyone at random until Qantas is profitable again.

Well the 27th of February is the usual half yearly results announcement so that is big enough.

The FF selloff won't be decided that quickly - I give it about 6 months before they pull the trigger

I dare say JQ and EK will be involved somehow............not sure how.

Or the one that keeps doing the rounds is Joyce will announce his resignation.

Here's a dumb question.

Why would anyone buy a FF programme?

I can see it has value to an airline in encouraging repeat travel, but not independently.

The ability to sell points to third party providers (Everyday Rewards, credit card providers etc) so that people can continue to travel on award tickets.

Possibly...
Allan resigns going to live in the Maldives.
Jetstar Int. sold
ASA's return to QFF site
J seats only shown onsite with no more popups (J+Y)
All seats Y-PE-J-F shown together in one search
More award seats made available to Gold and above

Confirmation and firming of orders for the fleet of new 707 aircraft to replace the aging A380's in service.

Assuming it's QFF news and given very few positives have come out in recent years I'm going with:

% of QFF being sold
Lifetime status requirements changing
A new points partnership of some type

I heard from a QFi attendant that the greens are pushing for the onboard nine news broadcast to be replaced by the abc.

Ok

Have just been speaking to the Plat line to a very very nice lady and she also confirmed an announcement that was going to happen on the 27th February over and above the normal annual report and they all have no idea what so ever which is strange as there are normally some people in the know and some rumors with in however it is very very quiet other than there will be an announcement on the 27th.

Must be a biggie :D

I for one welcome our new Emirati Overlords. When you think about it, it really makes sense to catch a Qantas flight to the new Emirates Hub in SYD and fly with them to your onwards destination - a true partnership between global equals. And for the three destinations Emirates doesn't fly to there is Jetstar.

Well played AJ!
