Boutique hotel like Wanderlust may seem a little out of the norm but it has a lot of characters chained hotels do not have. Definitely trying more design hotels where I can. Love love love the hawker food in SQ. Glad I could offer a few pointers

Wanderlust is such good value I have found. I love Little India, lots of yummy food there also.
