30K Bonus Velocity Points or 250 Status Credits or $200 Coles Voucher with New Credit Card

My first statement cut on the 2nd of May, and I understood points would transfer at the same time and trigger the SC bonus. Nothing had occurred for a week so I call Virgin Money.

Apparently some accounts are caught up with some issue with points transferring. It will either be resolved in 3-5 business days or on the next statement cut.

Ah thanks for the update -- saved us a phone call. I completed the four months on this card in my name and everything went through fine (either same day or next working day after the statement in each case).

My wife has now opened the card and we got her first statement about a week ago -- bonus points and regular points showing on the statement confirming she met the spend target, but so far nothing has hit her VFF account. When we log into the Virgin Money internet banking online and go to the Rewards History section, the points transfer is listed with the status "Active", whatever that means. I checked the VFF details and all looks good (number is correct and the name matches). Good to know it's not just her account and they are sorting it...

Ah, was wondering why the latest batch of 25k didnt land yet, despite being on the statement. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for saving me a phone call. Was wondering what happened to my points!

I'm still confused about their statement/bonus point period calculation. Got my card on 25th March, first statement landed 3rd April (I haven't met my spend requirement by that time). Received second statement on 3rd May and today my bonus points landed (along with the promo bonus)

Joing the club of having the same issue.
Statement received last week, rewards status shows active but nothing has come across to Velocity. At least they have acknowledged it and hopefully we see something come through by the next statement cycle.

Easy card sign up
Easy card monthly qualify
Easy points grab

Couldn't be any simpler
Yep. Recent points delay aside this has been a cracking deal. Will be an easy 200k VFF and 500 SCs across both mine and Mrs MattA’s accounts, plus the flight credits more than offset the AFs.

And it seems they are fairly relaxed about the definition of new customer, so one to rinse and repeat (especially if/when VFF run the promo again).

My points and the 30k bonus points hit last week. In some ways I was a little disappointed because if I had known they were going to hit so soon I probably would have taken the status credits which will have kept me at gold for another year.

Have received my 30k bonus points with my first Westpac statement.
Super easy earn of 100k points.

I had my Westpac statement today and bonus points and Status Credits from this offer posted across straight away. Happy days.
However, we had an issue with my partner's Virgin Money CC, Velocity points have now come through but they seem to have manually added them and so they just show up as 26000 points (rather than 25000 bonus points, and 1000 or so 'normal' points). This of course means we haven't got the status credit triggered.
Anyone think were a chance of getting Velocity to Manually credit the Status credits?

Points sign up bonus question

I thought to be eligible, 12 months had to have passed between closing the account and opening a new account.

On closer review of the fine print it look like you just can't be a current customer. I wonder how they define a new account holder.
