Re: 5,000 Free KrisFlyer Miles for New Accounts (or 3,703 Velocity Frequent Flyer Poi

That seems strange, accounts should only need to be linked from one side. Which account are you trying to shuffle the points from and too? Are you should the linking went though? On the VA side it's easy to check just go to Airline Transfers on the left hand too bar side where family transfers are. The KF side is harder, I needed to ready a walk though on austbt.com

All I'm trying to do is shuffling points from SQ over to VA. I'm able to link it from the VA side but not SQ and starting to think too bad, so sad the points can stay in SQ.

Signed up 3 family members for this, about 3 weeks ago, received the auto confirmation that they had received my email, but no points as yet!

Re: 5,000 Free KrisFlyer Miles for New Accounts (or 3,703 Velocity Frequent Flyer Poi

I, my wife, and extended family have received points in KF Account; however extended family members are having trouble transferring from SQ to VA (an error pops up saying that they need to contact SQ KF Services).

I and my wife had no problem doing this a fortnight ago.

Anyone else having trouble transferring KF to VA?

Yes I have with one of my son's accounts. It was one that needed to be confirmed as had a duplicate email address. Had an email saying the account was OK and 500 KF miles would be credited, which they did.
Couldn't transfer although KF/VFF accounts were linked correctly. Called KF-the rep said that it was only possible to transfer to Virgin Atlantic. Wouldn't budge. Intended to HUACA but haven't got round to it

Meanwhile I'm still waiting for the bonus 5000 miles for an account joined up towards the end of March. Anyone else still in the same boat?

Got the email conformation from KrisFlyer saying they were going to process, but that was ages ago now.

One of my sisters in that boat except no automated message saying they would process.

A friend who signed up last weekend got a "sorry this has closed" response.

Able to transfer the points referred to above via the SQ website today

I would like to know how to transfer to Virgin Atlantic

You need to add Virgin Atlantic as one of your partner programs through the Krisflyer portal first, then under the My Account page, choose the My Miles tab, and click on Convert Miles
It will give you the option in a dropdown menu if you have successfully added your partner account.

Anyone having any luck transferring KF to VFF? Works the backwards way still can't get the points across.

Seems to be fine for me

Working fine for me also. Make sure you have already registered your Virgin membership under the Krisflyer portal first. Ensure all details are correct and match your membership exactly.

I'll see if I can do some screenshots to show the steps if it will let me (as I already did the registration/linking, not sure if it will appear the same)

Okay, first you need to add your partner program to your Krisflyer account.

Log in, from the My Account dashboard select "My Profile" in the top row of tabs, then select "My Loyalty Programs" in the row below.
You will see the following page:

Krisflyer- add loyalty program 1-1.jpg

In the dropdown menu to the right of "Frequent Flyer Programs", choose the airline program you wish to add. (sorry can't show you the steps after the above as I had already added my Virgin FF membership, so it no longer appears in the dropdown menu)

Once this has been added correctly, then choose "My Miles" from the top level tabs, and then choose "Convert Miles" from the row below

Choose your Virgin membership from the dropdown menu shown

Krisflyer-Virgin conversion page 2 confirm.jpg

If successful, you will then see this:

Hope this helps

Anyone else still waiting for miles under the 5000 mile sign-up bonus? I've just sent a reminder to them.

Hi People, has anybody received the extra 5000 points for booking and travelling on SQ ? If so, how long did it take for these points to come through ?
Thanks in advance
