5,000 virgin money points for you and for the referrer (me). Signup was quick using Australian licence.

Virgin Money points transfer to Velocity 2:1.

My qualifying transaction was a BPay to a credit card statement.

Something for free by signing up here.

This is one of the few accounts running a rewards scheme where Bpay to a credit card earns points. There's also occasional decent bonus points offers for spend at merchants. The points can be used to buy GCs or transfer to VA.

Reminiscent of the Bankwest deal some here exploited, I did a few months' worth of daily bulk $1 payments before they warned me, then a couple of months more before they banished me from the rewards program. The length of my credit card bills was hilarious. Be sure to burn points as they're earned, don't stockpile.

Still have the use of the account but since Citi Payall ended, I've no use for it.

I had the same thoughts but their terms cover this very clearly. Specifically call out small transactions. 😭

Any idea how long the points take to come in? Signed up yesterday and did a $10 BPAY transaction

Here is my referral link: 5000 points

I have a couple of accounts (Individual/ joint) and I’ve received a sign up bonus for each account.
I use the rewards portal for 20x pet circle points. QR/ UA are also offered as a transfer partners, if that’s one of your programs of choice.

I also take heed that the 'normal' spend transactions earn 8x Money, 4x Velocity points per transaction. Not per dollar.

It’s 8pts per transaction not per $ right? Makes it only worthwhile for small payments. So filling up the car or paying government bills is not going to be earning much.

Correct, it’s 8pts per transaction.
The bigger points come from using the reward portal on the app.

thanks for the clarification. I'll edit my original post. I had a closer read and its 8 per transaction.

Note that I have to follow up every time with pet circle - they credit it as a special :)
IT doesnt work for me

Received a marketing email which may be targeted as I didn't immediately adopt the ApplePay suggestion

Alby, let’s go with 1,750 bonus Virgin Money Points!
Get 1,750 bonus Virgin Money Points by paying with your mobile wallet.

Simply make your first purchase using Apple Pay, Samsung Pay3 or Google Wallet4 within the next 30 days and voilà – the bonus points are yours.

Subsequent to this I did install it and make my first ApplePay purchase. Two days later no points yet. The other bonus points have posted overnight.

Thanks also to whomever used my referral link here!
