I’ve been giving lots of thought to the issue of whether Australia should open the borders.

It’s a complex problem with the need to balance factors such as health and welfare, tourism, trade and jobs.

While I would personally like to travel soon, this decision must be made in the national interest.

So I think the borders should remain closed until at least the end of December, especially to New Zealand.

It’s the Wallabies best chance of getting through the year undefeated.
