I wasn't sure where to post this bit of information on AFF. Oktoberfest commences soon, but if you wait until October you might almost miss the event because it starts in September, this year 16th September. It runs until around the first Sunday in October, German Unity Day.
I feel much happier now I know you have enough time to prepare. :)
