No, butter is not vegan because it's made from cow's milk, which is an animal product. Vegans don't eat animal products,

Me too. Something I was taught young. I wouldn't dream of putting on my boots or shoes without a good bang & upside down shake. Not the ones in my cupboard, obviously, but we are a no-shoe home so they are mostly left outside the back door.
