Yep, AKL-JFK on QF will be another one from next June.

For anyone who's still following this thread, I am planning to update AFF's complete list of fifth-freedom routes later this year once things have somewhat returned to normal. There are quite a few new fifth-freedom routes that have started during COVID or will soon start, as well as many that are no longer being served.

To be pedantic, you list the DPS/Australia fifth freedom routes under Malindo. Whilst retaining the same IATA code, Malindo has been rebranded as Batik Air Malaysia.

If the airline doesn't have the right to sell seats as local traffic on the tag leg, it doesn't qualify unfortunately.

I just had a look at the AFF list and that route is not on there.
