And a great pair of shoes in Bata for $25. Crazy.

Nice room upgrade due to Gold Ambassador. And in the suite by 10.15am. And late checkout at 4pm which is perfect for the 7.30 ish flight to Melbourne tomorrow.





This suite isn't over the Shop Houses like last time.

We've had shophouse rooms quite often and last time I was thinking I would ask for a regular room as I am a bit over them. Probably academic now as I have not renewed my Ambassador. Just wasn't using it enough. The Sydney IC is getting very tired IMO and the Melbourne one is not in our preferred location (like up the other end of Collins St). Have used them overseas but in many places there are better hotels.

Its a shame I renewed in MrP's name hey? This room seems brighter than those shophouse ones too.

I like the club lounge at the SIN IC. There was a particular staff member who made a really good martini and excellent cosmo. She was still there last time (Feb 2016).

We had a huge agave like this on our shack land. It was ancient. Then it threw up one of these within a couple of weeks until the council chopped it down as it had reached the power lines - thick trunk and grew in a matter of weeks. Then within a month it was dead and council dug it all up.

The Gardens by the Bay are great and we try and visit every time we are in Singapore. Lunch looks yum!

Afternoon tea was luvverly of course.
We were getting too hot to walk the sky trail and figured it would be great at night.


We walked back to the MRT and a little way into Marina Bay Sands. Of course there is a canal thingy. Like Las Vegas.



Back at ICN this trio were playing to afternoon tea downstairs. They were very good.



And our afternoon tea.


There is a huge wedding here tonight and the ballroom looks glorious. As the people were waiting, two of the hotel guests stroll past in the beautiful upstairs mezzanine next to it in their bathrobes and dropping wet hair and carrying a large floating toy. They would have come down from the pool on level 4 to mezzanine level where there are no rooms so I can only presume they were making their way to the Club for Afternoon tea!
