After reading this thread, I went out this morning and purchased a Bellroy Slim Sleeve (as I was considering it beforehand).

I have cash and nine cards in it and this is about the limit. I am liking it so far but it is just a little small to accommodate AUD50 notes (they protrude a little far for the wallet to fold optimally). Another few millimetres would have been better.

Pleb Status you just reminded me that our BankWest credit card 200,000 points limit rolls over this August. Thank you for having that card in your wallet picture.

If you can be bothered, folding each note separately and alternating the end at which the fold sits keeps it all as thin as possible.
Your 50s look like they protrude a bit further than mine? I'd say about a millimeter?

Thanks for the tip. Folding separately does make the AUD50 notes fit better. Having less of them helps as well.

Nice wallet. :D

Those with the Slim Sleeve, have any of you noticed the life span of the credit cards inside the pull out part seem to be reduced? The corners of the plastic seem to peel up much sooner than normal.

Nope. Had mine > 2 years and CCs look fine.

It's called a smart phone
Get key ring app
Job done

I got all excited when I saw this and immediately downloaded the app. Yesterday I went to Woolies to test it and it failed when the lady tried to scan it.... I thought it was my phone but she says they never work. Back to the wallet!!

It says they don't work well with laser scanners.

I just tried this Key Ring app with Woolies and Coles. Mine worked with Woolies but not Coles. I entered the numbers at Coles and it accepted it. All in all, not great I guess, but it may get rid of at least some of the cards out of my wallet. A downside I saw was no provision to enter a retailer they didn't know about. I have a couple of cards with bar codes that should work, but as the company was not part of their list, I couldn't complete the entry. Also, they don't have Europcar as a retailer????? I find that very odd!

I stick my woolworth and coles barcodes on my david jones amex (2.25qfpt/$) which saves 2 card spots.

You can enter the name manually... I have entered all my cards...except credit cards. I even put my Blood Group card in there.

The only issue is that I think a lot of places won't accept this digital version of the card. For instance the Virgin Velocity card may not be accepted in the digital format in overseas lounges if you tried to use the digital version to get in... that is the million dollar question. I have a feeling in Australia they would because they can easily check your status. I wonder if anybody has tested this yet.

I have a Ferragamo wallet with a money clip in the middle. It's a perfect travel wallet with room for 6-8 cards and cash in the clip.

I make a photocopy of my WOW and Coles cards, cut out the barcodes, and sticky tape them to my creditcard.

OK so it doesn't give you anything extra (the DJ card does that) you just don't have to get out multiple cards to do separate jobs? Would that be correct?

Personally, I don't think I'd trust it for OS, but that's fine for me. I just really want to rationalise the sheer number of cards I carry. There is a photo of the cards, but I think that's a bit pathetic really. I was hoping for a Passbook style app.

I agree. I see this app as being handy as a go to place for all my member numbers etc... I tend to have the phone on me more than my wallet. (especially when I am at home) As well when I travel overseas, I always take out all the cards that I won't need (cards like Everyday reward cards etc). At least if I do need them for some reason I have them all available on the phone.
