A rude and devious roo.. why would you bother?

Several posts were deleted by moderators due to language/behaviour/attacking another poster. I think this is where the confusion may be coming from.

The deleted posts dont contain a view as such in regards the subject, so I doubt they would be confusing the matter.

Ah but of course my comment was there were 12 against the J/Y ruse and zero for.12 zip to me is a pretty overwhelming majority.

Spin whatever way you what, 12 is still not a majority out of 50. I clearly said that the OP was attacked in general including the J/Y issue and the majority of posts decide to not mention that issue at all. Implication being a attack of the entire OP.

Please show one post that does this. .

Already have, just read the thread and you'll find it.

Now I know you enjoy an argument but believing that if the J/Y issue isn't mentioned that it is implied therefore the poster is agreeing with QF is preposterous. Now i did read every thread of the first 50 and I did not see one that stated the J/Y issue was fair.I also did not count the OPs threads, only replies to the OP.
I still maintain 12 zip is a majority.Absolutely definitely so if youb only count those posts that mention the J/Y issue.

Now I know you enjoy an argument .

It has nothing to do with having an argument, it has to do with the majority of people ignoring the only substantive issue raised in the OP in the quest to fling mud.

Substantive in your opinion only. Personally I've known about it and know to look out for it so didn't consider it that big an issue. Underhanded, maybe but it is there in the rules and they make it abundantly clear when searching so if you fall for it you probably deserve it.

I took umbrage at the OP suggesting NB's should have the same access to award seats as WP's (and I've never been a WP). That and after pasting QF the OP admits to owning shares in the company, epic fail by my reckoning. Neither made a great deal of sense to me. Hence I focused on that rather than the J/Y issue.

umm .. but I addressed those matters in the deleted post(s).
I have owned the shares for ages and ages , they were once good value and now I'm underwater.. why would I crystallise the losses ?
To answer my own question ...the way things are now.. perhaps I should, but I lived in hope.

I drew no allusions at all to status in my "rant" ,and it was purely an emotional , frustration driven vent aimed at the roo.
A lot of feathers got all ruffled about stuff I didn't say.
I guess I'm not likely to have much to do with the list in the future.. no status and all that .

I certainly fired back when the muck flew...

I would suggest you try trading VAH shares as you can make or lose more off a lower priced share. QAN does not generally move enough to trade for profits or losses. Anyway that is what I have found and I have traded them 3 times in a year.

NO actually not IMO only. Substantive based on the large number of times the issue is raised all over the internet by various people. In fact even the director in the office next to mine, who also tells me how qantas fly A320s SYD to PER, who is a platinum. I do think I've already mentioned this in this thread already.

Yes but others including myself saw other substantive issues in the OP's post. So it was your opinon only that the J/Y issue was "the only" substantive issue. Others had opinions that differ to yours.

All the other issues were aggressively dismissed, hardly indicative of the issues having any substance. But everyone has an opinion, [sorry not going to finish that]

I hardly see the correlation between someone who can't tell the difference between plane types and someone who can't tell the fare types. Most people I speak too have absolutely no knowledge of the type of plane they are booked on, nor do they really care. That does not stop them knowing the difference between a Y booking and a J booking.

You really need to change jobs to go to a place with more savvy colleagues!! :p

Gee is it that hard? The point is that unlike 95% of AFF members the plane type is not a big issue other than that the "A320" has better seats than the 737. But the Y/J thing is a big issue. It highlights the relative importance of the 2 matters. I'm sure most here would place importance on the correct plane types.
