I am so confused...I will lose my 40000 or so points on march 31/17 I did not know till this week I had to tell
Woolworth rewards to transfer my points to Qantas .I have done this. BUT....Woolworth's move Qantas points quarterly and this was last done on March 15/17. So any purchase I make before Mar 31 will not appear and I will lose my points. I have tried buying through eBay but do not know how to get them across....Hope this makes sense and please can someone help out this oldie with thanks billym

Hi billym, welcome to AFF.

If you join up to epiQure and buy some wine, the points should credit pretty quickly. Otherwise, go to the Qantas store and buy something cheap. That will count as activity and give you some breathing space!

If you have a relative who is a QFF member, transfer the points to them. Then after you have had some activity on your account, they can transfer them back. Note that transferring points does not in itself count as activity.

Fly somewhere; on Qantas or one of its partners.

Buy wine, epicure, spend money with your Qantas card,(first you need to activate it) then do your shopping with Woolworths or Coles if its cheaper.

Download and use the QF toolbar?

That option has gone the way of the dodo.

I am assuming that the OP had 0 points transferred from Woolworths on the 15th, hence the need. Epicure is the best bet as they post fairly quickly. Points earned from the online mall (i.e eBay) take 30 days to post after the purchase, and is done by tracking of the cookies.

Can the OP transfer the points to a family member who has an active account if the epicure points don't post in a timely manner?

You can contact Woolworths and ask them to transfer your points out of cycle.

Others have also added great suggestions.

Theres no need to loose your points unless you are lazy about it.

One solution: Transfer the 40,000 points to a family member. ie wife etc.

If you do not have a family member in QFF then join up someone. Then do a family transfer to them.

It is currently free via Qantas; See https://www.qantaspoints.com/join-now?code=FAMILYFREE

They can also join for free if you do it via Woolworths. https://www.everydayrewards.com.au/edr/myrewards/forms/anon/easylink

I would suggest go direct as it should be quicker.

One way if short of time is to call Qantas and get them to send out a relacement membership card. Cost I believe is 2000 points and resets the account's 18 month timer on the spot.

Epiqure credits almost instantaneously, you get wine (albeit slightly overpriced) and, if you choose the right wine, bonus points.

Check out the pointhacks spreadsheethttp://www.pointhacks.com.au/qantas-epiqure-guide-bonus-points/

You can see the points per dollar spent. Anything over $35 is decent provided you like the wine.

Or 1,000 points for some (expensive) nuts....

Ebay QFF points are credited to your QFF account one month after the purchase.

So anything on the site and a $5 click and collect fee is the cheapest way to get QFF points credited?
Best bang for buck(Points item is)?

Movie vouchers are no longer available to be purchased with Qantas Points. I think most will agree eBay is still the way to go
