its cheaper to sign up from overseas.

before i had my platinum charge I joined Accor Plus via another country. Same perks as the AU program for around ~AU$200/yr (depending on daily exchange rate fluctuations)
unfortunately no one responds to that email address anymore (worked fine pre-covid), so might have to call that contact direct, if you're interested.

Interesting, as Banyan Tree properties were being brought into Accor. Maybe its moving into one of the non-participating brands (e.g. Dhawa)

Stay Plus nights? No .. I did almost last year but I have pledged to burn things like this earlier for fear of devaluations, or global pandemics ;-)

I’m a lowly ALL silver, but have been a long term member for about 20 years and I got the extra free night. When it was time to renew last year I still had my free night left because of the timing of my year and various lockdowns. They agreed to roll it over for me, so this year I have already used 2 free nights no have now scored anothe. That’s gone a long way to restoring my perception of the value of the program.

Just signed up for Accor Plus through the Indonesian website. I put in my Melbourne address and the payment went through, but my application wasn't processed for about 4 days. I called them but they asked for an Indonesian address instead, luckily I have family residing in Jakarta.

On another note, just curious if anyone can share how to you use the 50% off dining discount. Is it just as simple as showing the digital membership card through Accor app during payment?
