Star of Siam has actually been on list of eateries to try but never got around to. So it's a yes from me.

And at the very bottom of the wine list it states that BYO is 750ml bottle: $15.

Ok, I have booked Star of Siam for 14 pax for 8pm. There's 2 sittings on Sat, 6-8pm and 8pm onwards. I have indicated we could be there from 7:30pm. I'll put some banquet suggestions up for your consideration in the next 2-3 days. Jess, we could include some vegetarian dishes in the banquet mix or alternatively, you can order separately? What about wine? Should we BYO - I'm happy to buy them from Dan Murphys, etc and bring them if you tell me what to get and how many?

The banquet idea might work well if it's asset price per head, then we could all just buy drinks on an ad hoc basis with cash?
Keeps it simple for the evening,
If it is BYO I suppose bringing a bottle is probably keeping it simple as well .

Looks fine to me. I haven't done Thai in a long while.

Unfortunately I can't visit the restaurant this week as I have been called to MEL, so the final menu will be delayed for a few more days.
