Link working for me - and enjoying the Lanson Gold Label, right now.

Have been indulging in various Champagne Week events over the past few days, so it's a long way from the best I've tried but not too bad at all. :)

That is actually a good price regardless.

Yes - the World Cup was great, and when BWS deleted the line, but under "normal circumstances" Taittinger sub $50 is good IMHO.



Of course, a bunch of us just did well with another deal, which makes this look "expensive".

Well, I was browsing in a BWS in DRW tonight and what do you think was on the shelf - some World Cup Taittinger !

There was no price tag on the shelf so I took it up to the counter to find out and was told "oh, that's new. Only came in today (!)" , there was no price in the system when they scanned it. I was then told they couldn't sell it as there was no price, (I suggested it must be free - as you do) they said to come back tomorrow and they would know what to charge, but I don't think I will get there.

I was also in vintage cellars just before :oops: and they had quite a few cases of it at about $50/bottle

I wonder if there is another wave of stock coming through and potentially some bargains on their way?
