Advice on champagne

Thanks to all for help on girls Bubbles...turns out there is 6 attending so I hedges my bets.. with 3bottles.

Brown Brothers Pinot Noir Chardonnay ,Jansz Premium Cuvée and the NZ Cloudy Bay Pelorus

3 bottles divided by 6 = 1/2 each or one glass of each ...told them its judging competition! and to rank from 1,2,3

It be interesting to here how they placed.

Hey I love posting in wrong threads - bloody mods want the big bucks let 'em earn it I say!

Nah ... this can stay here (I like a Rumball myself :p).

Maybe we need a thread titled 'Non Champagne Bubbles Recommendations' or such.

Took longer then I expected ;)

I wanted to say something, but thought it might be seen as uncharitable, sparkling wine "aint" champagne.
I agree with the idea of a non champagne thread, while most sparkling wine (and Prosecco) is vile (IMHO) i had the pleasure of drinking a number of bottles of French "Cremant" whilst in Burgundy last month, and I found them to be every bit as good as a lot of the Champagnes I have tried over the years. that said it is french, and it is still made by the "méthode champenoise" process

Maybe we need a thread titled 'Non Champagne Bubbles Recommendations' or such.
