Have had the Longitude - but not in Magnum.
Would be very happy to have it on the Christmas table. :)
Took the plunge ordered a Mag Longitude and lashed out on a Mag of Clouet Rose for Xmas and NY! Searched around and Wine Decoded looked to offer the best deal. Rang them and they gave me 6 pack price for the 2. Thanks for your advice on the Longitude

Salute!
Can I drop in on Christmas Day? :)
Enjoy it all - and report back.

Does anybody have one of these?
I bought it a while ago. However the incidence of unfinished champagne is negligible to zero. In any event it wasn’t cheap and came with glowing references from the wallah behind the counter st capelvale. Unless mine is a dud. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone.

No I don’t. I use a Perrier-Jouet stopper in the equally unlikely event of us having unfinished Champagne. It does the job. Got it as a freebie from the Kyla Kirkpatrick club thing.

Now, now. I think that some people are being harsh.

I carry a lightweight, flat, winged Champagne stopper in my handbag at all times, when travelling.
Just in case! :)

Don't often get to use it, I admit, but there is the occasional event, when a glass of bubbles before going on to the Opera, for example, and a glass (or two) on returning home, is just the perfect addition to the evening.

Mind you, this particular product (the sealer, not the Champagne) costs around five Euros, and I have given away probably twenty of them over time. Whenever I find them, I buy up whatever is in stock. Have not seen them in Oz, unfortunately but will continue to keep a lookout.

And, GPH, you will be on my gift list when next I find a supply. :)

With many thanks.

I bought a couple at a winery in the Hunter Valley earlier this year.

... just checked - it has 'Jane Brook' printed on it.

Or are you purchasing your champagne in Jeroboams?

I was hooking into the stuff from the big houses then a mate introduced me to 'Grower Champagne' small guys. The one I'm loving at the moment is Andre Clouet. It was the dark blue label one. Had it side by side with Billecart and Veuve consensus with a few mates was Clouet killed it! When I grabbed some Serrat from Wine Decoded they had and it was cheaper than the Prince $59 if you mix half a case up . Want to try their Rose too. A mate bought it for an anniversary he's been a big Billecart Rose drinker and reckon's it's better and cheaper. Wine Decoded had it too for $71 in a half case. André Clouet Brut Rosé NV - Wine Decoded

others include Serge Mathieu, Marc Chauvet, Pierre Gimonnet

Decided another 6 bottles of the 2008 Pol Roger was in order at such a good price. I'm going long on 2008 champagne anyway, so why not.
Got it all sorted. You guys sure know how to game the system! How long does it normally take for the eGift cards to come through?
