I'm still trying to work out how to get it for <$50

Thanks - i did note that but am hoping to find a 'free' source. However, purchasing only $7800 yearly (only $150 a week) would see a disc of $390. Taking into account the $29 still gives a 4.6% disc. How much does it cost to get cards delivered?

Well that was a fruitless venture - no stock of Mumm gift packs. Cruiserette says she had 2 visits to Costco in one day - her FIRST and her LAST - and she chewed my ear all the way cause she was unable to secure the Mumm gift packs. Staff did check stock situation for me - YES they will be getting more stock in - NO they do not know when - need to call them first on 03 8602 0300 and they will confirm - better than wasting a trip.

Some comparisons I noted in Costco this morn:

Veuve - Costco $52.69 / Dan's $52.75

Moet - Costco $42.38 / Dan's $44.85

Lanson - Costco $39.39 / Dan's $39.85

Dom 2004 - Costco $187.99 / Dan's $199.95

That was about extent of Costco champagnes - they do also normally range Mumm but no stock today.

Don't forget the 5% discount trick at Dan's. Not sure how you can show Dan's the Costco price but they do price beat too.

Even though we don't yet have Costco in ADL, I have a major dislike of them and would not shop there.

It was slightly cheaper a few weeks ago at $52 per single bottle. But if you have a Wish card I guess its on par.

Quite a few of the champagnes are showing the same price for single and in any six which is not too bad either.

Champagne fancier Mrs Pineapple just got upgraded to J in QF MEL-DXB. Just wondering what QF is currently rolling out in that cabin.

OT I was impressed the upgrade came through, good result for a PS member. And she clocks over gold on this flight. Hope she remembers me flying Y in 4Q from KBL :/

For those younger members I thought I should tell you that it is possible to lose your taste and smell senses as you get older. As a result it isn't terribly smart to live in a world where you deny yourself of the nicest champagnes and wines.
Of course when you are around 100 years old and living without those senses cask wine will save you some money.
Now let's share a good champagne!
