This may not go down well (no pun intended) but here goes.
I was just on my first QF F flight and had the Taittinger CDC 2000. That was the only one loaded.
I wasn't a fan of it. The first glass was OK and I thought it would get better with time. Five glasses later, it was the same.

I don't know if it is a house thing - I really like the NV - probably my favourite NV but I didn't like the Millesime 2005 either.

QF F also have VC LGD 2004 on their rotation as well - it must be a recent addition.

Looking forward to trying the PR SWC 2000 or the LGD if they are loaded on my next F flights later this year.

this probably belongs in another thread, but has anyone else seen the penfolds/vintec offer on front of AFR today? Quick perusal of Dan's shows should be able to pick up the 6 wines for about $180.

anyone with particular experience of that model of vintec (30 bottle-r), or vintec in general? seems like a great buy at first squiz.

Dans stores had a tasting of the Dom P; first time I've tasted it and quite enjoyed it. Not quite enough to fork out $179 however.

Unlike the guy who cleaned out the store by buying the remaining 6 bottles (and the last 6 of the Wolf Blass Black Label, but that's for another thread).

Bought a few bottles of the Dom 2004 which was at practically Changi Airport duty free pricing. Then noticed Bollinger, Mumm and Billecart NVs on sale again.... (the OH also took a liking to the Octomore 5 year but that's for another thread) guess we'd better drink hard to clear some space in our 'cellar.'

My advice is that even a Tuesday is an excellent day to drink champagne.... oh how I love lamb shanks and bubbly ;-)

Oh how you are correct.... but we save billiecart for the weekends ;-) on another note its wonderful coming home to yet another box of mixed champers at ~$40 a pop...!

Cheers fellow champagne drinkers ;-)

I have bought Moutard at other Coles outlets when its around $30+. My memory is clean fresh and fruity. Very much enjoyed it. I think at $25 its a steal. But best you buy a bottle, and if you like it, stock up.
