Aeroplan (Air Canada) is now selling points

My booking for MEL > SGN 25/12 was cancelled unfortunately. I did receive an option to have my points and fees/taxes returned back to me.

I suspect the answer would be "no", but have you asked Aeroplan if they can re-acommodate you on another flight? Since the cancellation isn't your fault.

Vs Aeroplan keeping them?

I am not sure what you mean by this question. Could you pls clarify? I haven't called them to inquire further. Do you think it is worthwhile i.e. have people had success getting re-booked? I checked the award availability around 25/12 - 6/01 and its non-existent besides some SQ flights with long layovers.

They will go by award availability. You’ll need to decide if the long layovers are worth it compared to another carrier/routing.

Great offer - unfortunately both my and Mr LL accounts only get the flat 100% bonus - not sure who gets the 125%. Still at 45,000 Australia to Asai in J is excellent value - 110K to Europe not bad.

120% here, time to refresh myself on best options because this sounds like I maybe should take advantage!

Only 100% for me but with EY pulling their J redemptions and WY never eventuating I just don’t think there is much value for what I want so might pass this time

110% here (have bought previously).

Air Mauritius for Perth / Mauritius return for me!

That's weird in doing some "what if" searches on AC to decide if I should jump on this offer WY came up - then maybe not - on double checking seems it must have been GF

Yeah, GF is there. Interestingly there were several options to fly back from Europe taking Gulf air to Bahrain and then thau from Bangkok to Melbourne, all available in business. This is for February 24

Only got offered 100% on 100k+ points. Won't bother. The fees are too high and cancellation and change fees are too high. Also the call centre is hopeless when trying to get through. Would rather buy Alaska miles where the fees are very low, free change and cancellation and you can get through to the call centre.

hum I wonder if the percent bonus is random or based on your customer profile. Can those who received > 100% share their profile; e.g. do you fly AC paid fares a lot, are you more than a basic member, have you bought lots of points in the past???

for myself on the base bonus of 100% - I have bought points in the past during promos - say 250,000 in total - earned minimal points on paid fares - am an entry level member - do not have any CCs which accrue points which can be transferrer to AC.
