I just booked some flights so I am definitely attending, is it bad that I didn't even check with Qantas before I booked.

Yes. Down on a Friday night and back on a Sunday and Qantas is usually like laydown mazaire.

After some discussions over dinner last night, Chee (Oz Mark+1) & Kim (my +1) are going to cater the event with an asian influence. Not a final menu yet but I believe very close to being finalised...

Do not know whether I will attend yet but definitely out for dinner. No laksa, no curry and definitely no chilli of any description. Mai ped....

Unfortunately I'm going to have to pull out.

It would seem that I've double booked myself. There was another event that I'd confirmed to, but for some reason I didn't put it in my calendar. I knew there was a reason why that date sounded familiar (otherwise I would have confirmed ages ago).

Disappointing, because I was looking forward to it (and that menu looks great - I love char siu as well).

Apologies. Hope to catch up with you all another time.

Is that too late? I will try a bit earlier but I am not too sure how I will be after a late game of golf.

I am going to give dinner a miss and don't want to stay too long as I will be driving and playing golf again the next day.
