Dang Loyalty ... if the 'pies were ever going to beat the Hawks it was Saturday evening ... mind you, the Dockers game was a cracker

As for the Crows -that was easy! I reckon they played above themselves last year and age is starting to weary them ...

Surprising that I backed the Pies, as I hate them (and Eddie). But their record was too goood to turn up (and this season form).

I must not have read the terms and conditions properly at the beginning of the competition.

Why would one get 10 bonus points for getting them all right? That is a 62.5% bonus. So someone can tip 8/8 one week and 3/8 the next week and they would be in front of someone who has 6/8 or 7/8 both weeks.

Surely 2 bonus points (or even 4 bonus points) for a perfect round would have been more than enough....

Hmmm, why did I believe that the Crows could beat the Blues (even with their historical record being positive) Damn, they ruined a perfect score.

Likewise I thought too much of their historical record.

Nahh ... it's a setting a competition administrator can setup - I don't believe 10 is the default .

If I had of had a bit more tweaking ability, punters tipping St Kilda would have got bonus points as well, and every time Geelong lost, St Kilda tippers would have got extra points

I am not one eyed, I support 2 teams, St Kilda, and anyone playing Geelong

And tonight that tip paid off. As did Port ADL against St Kilda.

Still I am glad a loss has come early in the season so there wont be huge amount of pressure later on when it is something like 20 wins in a row.

Wonder if there will be a live St Kilda match played on free to air in CBR this year before the finals? None yet, and none likely, the replay has just started here in CBR.

Well, just finished watching The Dockers win...I was a bit worried after the first quarter, but they put it to bed in the second.

Like most, I picked Brisbane Lions, St Kilda and Hawks this round. When looking at the stats in the other Comp that gives public figures, the tipping was 6% for Melbourne win, 7% for a Port win and 10% for North Melbourne. That will make it interesting in the our table standings after the round.
