At the last visit, I was on the coast in the late afternoon and it is definitely windy. It wasn't too bad but it would've been quite a bit more comfortable in the morning.

A lot more comfortable - especially if you want to sit on the balcony of the Blue Duck looking out at Rotto (and down on one of my running tracks ): Home - Blue Duck.

Generally, the sea breeze can be expected to hit the coast around 1100-1200 in November and gradually build in strength through the afternoon.

From memory Qantas had $179 each way on sale recently.

I have booked my return flights, PER-BNE on Tuesday the 15th November. Plan to take in Margaret River after the Do as I don't expect something so far away to be on the cards over the weekend. Will book my flights there next year when there's a sale and my CC isn't heaving.

I have been a bit busy of late so this thread has languished, but I'd like to announce those who will be working together to organise the weekend. Most of these members have put up their hands, but a couple we have inscripted as they're just good at getting things done.

penegal - having worked behind the scenes a few times now, and generously helping supply name tags and a pickup/drop-off service.
JohnM - one of the first to put his hand up.
clazman - another member eager to help out with the organisation.
jsd - yet another member eager to get stuck into making AFF#10: PER a great event.

JessicaTam - inscripted due to her amazing work with AFF#9: CNS, and before.
straitman - inscripted for much the same reason as above.
