Dry here in SYD; good week end.

Thanks, and thanks again to hvr for organising and driving us around; next Coke's (or 10) on Me!:D

You're welcome Serfty. I had a great time and we had an awesome group of people.

Have just seen off the last people from the airport (and enjoyed a diet coke or two at the lounge). Now to relax and enjoy the public holiday we have here in CBR tomorrow and let someone else start planning for next year's AFF Gathering. :)

Hvr: thank you for a fabulous weekend you really did a sensational job with the entire event.

Great to catch up with everyone, many drinks and great food all weekend.

See you all real soon ;)

Thursday... is that soon? :D

Safely home thanks to samh004's taxi service.

Was a great weekend, I ate and drank way to much and met lots of new people.

Looking forward to next year already :)

Home too now, so I owe a massive thanks to Hvr for the organising, and ferrying around Canberra. My first visit and it was amazing!

Now everyone will want lifts…

And how’s that diet going? :p

Well everybody was safely delivered to their hotels and I am now home. :)

It was a very successful evening at our dinner and our speaker gave very freely of her time telling us about her organisation and their products. She also answered many, many questions It was truly appreciated.

The actual meal was also very good country fare with very large serves.

I look forward to tomorrow for the final day of our get together.

So who was the guest speaker?

Back at home now after a terriffic weekend. Enjoyed re-meeting many AFFers and meeting a few 'new' ones as well. Many thanks to Hvr for his excellent organisation and chauffering! These w/ends don't happen without someone doing those hard yards so it is much appreciated.

Thanks also to our guests Luisa and Jane from Amex. They were both very pleasant company and provided some excellent information. Certainly got me thinking!

Looking forward to next year (I think - and happy to be corrected - myself and oz-mark are the only attendees to have made it to all 5 gatherings). They always fall very close to another annual event I often attend so have been lucky so far to make it to all - hope to get to the next one, wherever it happens to be.

Great weekend, thanks to Hvr for driving us around Canberra and surrounds.

Thanks to our guests Luisa and Jane from Amex, I might have to cave in and get myself a proper Amex, yes I have one of those Westpac co branded ones.

Is it bad that I didn't meet any new AFF members, maybe that is a sign I have already met too many of you. :)

Great weekend, thanks to trippin_the_rift who I flew with on the 3 Qantas segments and I have to thank him for the upgrade on Brisbane to Canberra.

Thanks to Virgin Australia for my lounge access in Brisbane and Canberra,:) really Qantas you need to sort out your lounge wifi signal. :(

A well done to Hvr for taking the time for organising this event!

It was an expensive weekend for myself even though I was a no-show given my forfeiture of two prepaid nights at The Diamont.

Hopefully will be at the next event, say in NZ, or even maybe Bali anyone?

Thanks Hvr for doing all the organising... and it was great catching up with some familiar faces, and putting some new faces to names here...

Having stuffed up my timings this weekend I probably should stay right out of the where and when argument.

ps ...though I probably won't :!:
You are allowed to comment on the "where" bit, tho....;)

if people can start posting here ideas for next years event we will start a poll in a week or so, options not covered in this years poll are welcome!
