Well the first event is over and we had ten attendees. Looks like everybody enjoyed their dinner and conversation. Of course we all paid by Amex and bill splitting was not a problem. The lady on the check out was impressed when I explained why we all paid with our Amex, i.e. to get our FF points.

I'll see you all in the morning with the bus.

If you're a local and free tomorrow evening feel free to come to Central Cafe for dinner at 6.30pm.

Well it looks like I am flying again this afternoon so I am not going to make it to CBR, hope everyone has a good time. For those Brisbane based attendees, your missing an interesting Saturday morning!

Toowoomba Police advise there is local flooding in the CBD following heavy rain.
There is water under the bridge at Bridge Street between Mort and Ruthven Streets.
Water is rising at McDougal and South Streets.
MOTORISTS*ARE URGED TO DRIVE WITH CAUTION. DO NOT DRIVE THROUGH FLOOD WATERS AND OBEY ALL SIGNS AND POLICE DIRECTIONS.
This storm is heading towards Ipswich and Brisbane.

We have just finished dinner at Central Cafe in Queanbeyan, the restaurant wasn't too keen on splitting bills but the worst was the 3% surcharge for paying with Amex.

Well everybody was safely delivered to their hotels and I am now home.

It was a very successful evening at our dinner and our speaker gave very freely of her time telling us about her organisation and their products. She also answered many, many questions It was truly appreciated.

The actual meal was also very good country fare with very large serves.

I look forward to tomorrow for the final day of our get together.
