Consider Sam booked an earlier flight to try and align with my flight, I'll take my lead from him. There's going to be plenty of drinking time over the next 3 days!

Andrew (Bne Andrew) arrives the same time as me (though he is flying direct) and Sam will be there much earlier hanging around in the DJ Lounge (I assume).

I shall try my luck at check-in of getting the slightly later 08:20 departure though, but doesn’t look likely.

Yes,
I'm not sure if the Diamont has it's own carpark for guests but you should easily find relatively cheap parking around the Diamont.
