AFF Gathering #7 at HBA on 29 November - 1 December

As I keep saying, a plan should be up soon, I know restaurants have been contacted, but I'm not directly involved in those discussions. Despite the lack of a full plan at this stage, I'm really looking forward to getting down there and seeing everyone.

I have been following thread from beginning.

At this stage I cannot attend so I am confirming my non-attendance. If plans change then I will reconsider.

I had a good look at some restaurants on the weekend, and have a shortlist I will run past the other two. Hopefully we will be able to have a firmed up itinerary and dinner location for Saturday by this weekend.

Im not usually one to look at JQ , but the current Spring Sale has some great fares to HBA for AFF Gathering #7..... it sure beats the $200+ o/way fare VA have at the moment ....Book before 14th Sept

I have just been looking at flights myself and noticed that JQ709 that a few AFF'ers had booked ex MEL has changed & now departing MEL @ 15.40 , arriving into HBA @ 16.55. ( was 16.05) Just an FYI.

Sorry, I was looking at the 6 point rate. There's $70 difference on the 3 point rate. I still think that's better in my pocket.

Are you looking at Qantas online, my point is they pay points on any rate when you give them your card at checkin!

Yes I was looking at Qantas online. I present my QFF card on check in and get points even if I haven't booked with Qantas? I've got a lot to learn!

Given that the mercure that i have booked into has transformed into a best western, i dont think i will be staying there anymore.

I have bitten the bullet and reserved 3 nights at 2 different hotels.

29 november night will be at Mona Pavilions
30 november night will be at Islington
1 december night will be back at Mona Pavilions.

Happy to host pre/post dinner parties at the pavilions.
