It looks almost certain that I no longer have a clashing commitment that weekend. When I am certain I will upgrade to Platinum...(oz_mark please note ;) )

But you have so far to travel :p :p

Will be good to see you again :)

There will be a dinner on the Sunday for those who are still in MEL...

I just need to decide if it is at 6pm or 8pm to allow those lounge lizards to drown their sorrows :p

It is my plan to have a "modular" approach to Sunday:

Morning / Lunch / Afternoon:
Option A: Golf led by penegal / John K
Option B: Yum Cha led by volunteer X... And probably also some optional CBD sightseeing or maybe a botanic gardens walk. Ideally someone else would lead both activities if I am playing golf.

Evening:
Option C: Farewell Dinner for those remaining led by penegal
Option D: Lounge meets at airport as you leave (organise yourselves)

You can do one of A & B, and one of C & D.

So AC, AD, BC, BD are valid combinations :p

NB: This is still a work in progress, but we are getting closer to a formal announcement and some venue bookings.

Now I know I am a seriously sick puppy but after reading this I just got to thinkin' how we would officially address this pair of AFF luminaries:
a) Abbot and Costello
b) The Booze Brothers
c) Dumb and Dumber (Nah just kiddin')
D) The Dodgy Brothers
e) Yogi and Boo Boo
...................oh I could go on and on! :D

Went past it on a tram yesterday on the way to visit my boy. It looked suitably trendy and spiffy for those into that sort of thing. Enjoy the visit, tis a nice part of MEL ( bias declared!) John.

They have a lot of hotels in Asia so will be a bit of a test. There is a sale on at the moment for a certain period of next year. $65 per night double room in MEL.

Unfortunately, we're now bronze for this event :(

SWMBO 30 year reunion has been slated in for this weekend. I went in hard for a leave pass, however I'll now be attending a local surf club doing my best not to embarrass the cheese and kisses ;) I know most of them as I went to the same school - most of them are w$nkers!

I am now Platinium for this event .

Departing SYD on Friday 24th Oct on VA800 @ 6.00am and working from the office in Melbourne for the day before joining the festivities on Friday evening
Departing MEL on Sunday 26th Oct on VA897 @ 9.00pm.

Hotel still to be locked in . Will look at that over the next week .
