I noticed I'm not on the list so please add me as platinum for drinks and dinner on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Not sure where we sign up for it, but I guess I would just post here:

Friday - no. (onboard QF36).
Saturday - Everything from the cruise onwards. Easy with either lunch option.
Sunday - option b, plus dinner.

Cheers for getting this going. :)

I assume that Option B on Sunday is also Golf. Sign me up for everything except for the Saturday morning walk and Sunday golf.

After a weekend with Straitman & Sue_Oz, I'm back up to Gold and as soon as I've assessed and booked flights & accom.

Seems that sons' 5th birthday party is going to be a very quiet affair.

samh004, get ready to upgrade me.

Thanks for organising!

Train/901 Bus - max $6.50 per day on weekends/PH.
Anyone else playing golf?
Yep ... put me down.

I would make Friday drinks, but likely not dinner.
Point Cook
Saturday Dinner (and maybe +1)
Sunday option A

Train/901 Bus - max $6.50 per day on weekends/PH.Yep ... put me down.
What sort of time involved? And as dinner is 8:00pm can I still get back to MEL airport around midnight.

Perhaps I bite the bullet and book Holiday Inn Flinders St which is ~$40 more but then I need to factor in cost of getting to from City and getting to golf the next day.

Or hire a car but then no alcohol. Decisions, decisions.

I'll look into the logistics of bringing my clubs down for Sunday...

I'm guessing baggage allowance isn't the problem :p

Last Bus from Broady Station to MEL Airport departs 11:56pm Saturday. tt.ptv.vic.gov.au/tt/TTB/20141001-181443/vic/04901_ttb_TP.pdf#page=5

Trains run 30 minutes apart and arrive Broady 2 minutes before the bus: tt.ptv.vic.gov.au/tt/TTB/20141001-181443/vic/02BDMD_ttb_TP.pdf#page=3

TBH, 2 minutes is a little tight and I am not sure I would want to wait around the bus stop at that time of the night for very long.

I will get a [Google Docs] signup form together shortly - it is easier to manage than heaps of posts in the thread.

My flight only arrives (hopefully) at 09:15 on Saturday so can't make the 10:00am cruise but would like to meet for the 12:00pm lunch. Will find my own way to Williamstown. BBQ or pub fine by me, pub sound "simpler and fairer"

2:00pm visit to the museum - tick
8:00pm Dinner - tick
Sunday Yum Cha - tick :p

All we need to know now is how to pay

Edit to add: More than happy to pay some corkage and try Chateau penegal wines

The cruise actually leaves at 10:30, but I would like us to meet at 10am... Either way it may be tight. Depending what happens with the bus, they may be able to pick you up somewhere, otherwise Williamstown can be easily reached on the Williamstown train line (using your Myki).

All we need to know now is how to pay

I will post that once I work it out...
