But the airport is where we are splitting up. Jimmy124, his +1 and I are heading to the QF Business Lounge; others are going to the VA lounge

Sorry I missed Yum Cha. It would have been great to see everyone again before the end of the weekend.

Speaking of which I shall update RE: the birthday dinner soon

Well am now home after a wonderful weekend. To sam and penegal thank you so much for your organising skills. To jb747 thank you for your very interesting talk and conversation afterwards.

To Red Roo, your kind gift was very well received by Petal (after she forgave me for leaving her alone all night) :). Photo to be posted soon.

To all the other attendees thank you for your contribution to making the weekend a success. I certainly look forward to catching up with you again when the opportunity arises.

Finally, didn't Melbourne put on a beautiful weekend of weather? It certainly complemented and enhanced (in the real meaning of the word) the weekend.

Arrived in the Business Lounge and sitting at the back right hand side overlooking the corner of the Tarmac with Jimmy124 & his +1

Quick coffee catchup with a friend and now about to jump on Skybus to see if I can grab a fly ahead.

mickeyc747's Birthday Dinner will be held at Father's Office. It's an American / Australian place with a 1920s theme. The special is $10 burgers on Sundays.

I haven't actually been able to make a reservation but given our reduced number we should be able to walk in...

Time: 7:00 / 7:30 kickoff
Place: Father's Office Speakeasy Bar and Restaurant
Address: 249 Little Lonsdale St, Melbourne VIC 3000

It's right near the state library. It is a small entrance on the side of the "QV" block, and then head upstairs.

On the plane now about to head home to ADL. Just a quick post to thank everyone so much for such a wonderful, welcoming and fun time at my first AFF annual gathering.

Such a memorable experience :) Can't wait till the next one already!!

A very big THANK TOU to everyone, especially penegal, sam004, jb747 and everyone else that we met for making our first AFF weekend such a success. The whole weekend was very enjoyable and extremely informative with some of the hints we learnt !!

Winning some extra Qantas FF points was an added bonus !!! Thank you Red Roo !!

Hope to see you all again in the near future.

Hi Everyone,

I too am now home safe and would like to take the time to thank everyone for a wonderful weekend. I can now truly see why Dad and Mum enjoy their trips away with the AFF crowd so much. Thank you to the organisers and to the wonderful people I met, who where very welcoming, given that it was my 1st AFF event.

I look forward to future events.
